Show your Sausalito spirit in this fun and vibrant shirt featuring floating homes, sailboats, and a fog-covered Golden Gate Bridge.
Designed by Cricket Press in Lexington, KY and printed by Forward Printing (founded in Oakland but now a Tucson, Arizona based print shop specializing in foil printing)
I chose Pantone's color of the year, classic blue, and one of my favorite colors, gold for this lovely design. Foil printed on a white crewneck sweatshirt
My favorite detail is the golden seal at the bottom.
Washing instructions from Forward Printing:
Due to the nature of the process, washing a foil print can be a sensitive matter. Foil prints can be less permanent than most other decoration styles. It tarnishes after washing and may start to flake off slightly after numerous washes. We’ve honed our methods of getting excellent washability of prints by doing a double heat setting, but it still bears mention that this sort of decoration requires extra care to last the life of the garment.
We recommend including washing instructions with foil print t-shirts. Here’s a good idea of how to treat a foil shirt:
- Turn the shirt inside-out.
- Use a delicate wash cycle, or better yet wash by hand, with cold water and a mild detergent.
- Hang dry.
- Do not iron over foil.
